• Comprehensive Training in Quantum Communication and Cryptography

    Academia and Research Institutions

The HellasQCI training program is a comprehensive initiative targeting academia and research institutions, security and IT experts, as well as end users and public authorities. For graduate students in quantum technologies and classical communications, the program offers hands-on workshops and tutorials with a specific focus on Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) systems, emphasizing practical experience in generation, manipulation, and single-photon detection.

    Security and IT Professionals

Security and IT professionals will receive training on cryptographic principles, both asymmetric and symmetric systems, exploring their security against conventional and quantum computers. The curriculum also covers the implementation of QKD protocols, threat models, and quantum secure encryption methods, integrating these technologies into symmetric cryptographic infrastructures to strengthen security in various systems.

    End Users and Public Authorities

End users and public authorities will gain valuable insights into the concepts of quantum communication and cryptography. The program will place special emphasis on designing infrastructures for governmental and commercial testbeds, as well as strategies for integrating QKD resources into diverse settings. It also covers the challenges of varying photon noise levels and how to manage them effectively in practical applications.
